Japan Crisis and Impact on Supply Chain

March 16, 2011

Dear Valued Customers,

First and foremost, our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the people and families in Japan that have been devastated by the deadly earthquake, tsunami and now nuclear threat.

Obviously, the global supply chain impacts of this disaster are yet to be fully understood and we assume there will be certain upstream supply implications that will become apparent over the next few days and weeks. We can take some solace in that our contingency planning abilities, emergency resource allocation experience, sourcing capabilities, and in some cases, our inventory of safety stock will prove valuable in our ability to manufacture and ship product. However, in a few instances, we believe that the sudden impact of a severed supply chain may negatively impact our ability to meet all shipment deadlines. We are in continuous contact with our suppliers and will keep you abreast of any news, the more we know.

Please feel free to contact your Account Representative with your concerns or what we can do to help lessen the impact on you and your customers.

Sincerely,

Anson Martin
Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing
