At Palladium Energy, all battery pack and cell qualification testing is done in-house, reducing your time-to-market and minimizing costs
Battery pack safety is our top priority at Palladium Energy. We start the manufacturing process by first qualifying battery cell suppliers who must pass Palladium's rigorous evaluation process, which includes:
- Manufacturing quality and safety tests
- Battery cells that pass exceed demanding performance and safety standards
- Battery cells that pass UL 1642, IEEE 1725 and IEEE 1625 standards
Following our rigorous safety checks, Palladium manufactures our battery packs with Six Sigma process improvement tools including DMAIC and LDFSS under the highest-quality standards using:
- ISO 9001/2000 standards
- Manufacturing Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)
- UN38.3[DOT], RoHS and WEEE guidelines, where appropriate
- One of the lowest Defects per Million (DPM) rates in the entire power industry
- Generation and maintenance of Design History Files (DHF), which include any records describing the history of a device – design review notes, verification plan and results, validation plan and results and FMEA results
- Device History Records (DHR), which include documentation affiliated with production – test reports, test data, signed build documents
- Certificate of Compliance (CoC), and quality assurance checklists
- Quality process automation, design and process control, document control and inspection control
- Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and Just in Time (JIT) product deliver
- Test chambers (with 500+ test channels) to profile cell and pack performance
